All buccal swabs are sealed in a buccal swab envelope that is colour coded to match the handles of the swabs. Each swab kit is then packaged into its own tamper proof Biohazard bag. The completed Client Consent/Chain of Custody paperwork for that case is placed into the outside pouch of one of the Biohazard bags for that case. Each Biohazard bag is sealed by removing an adhesive strip.

The Biohazard bag(s) are then placed into a courier pack.
