What does your fee include?
Orchid Cellmark fee includes specimen collection (within Canada and from living individuals), shipment of the samples to our DNA laboratory, DNA analysis, the generation of written reports and the mailing of those reports to the tested parties.

Do you offer payment plans?
While Orchid Cellmark does not typically offer a payment plan, there are some cases involving non-standard specimens in which we will collect the fee to test the non-standard sample first, and if that testing is successful, we will collect the balance of the fees, prior to testing the additional samples for that case.

Is DNA testing covered by health insurance?
DNA testing is considered a non-medical test and is not covered by health insurance plans.
